This is probably the semester where I’ve drank the most while at Berkeley (last semester might still win overall). It’s also the semester where I’ve had 2/3 of the bad hangovers in my life.
But it’s also the semester where I’ve worked the hardest and gotten the best grades.
Before, I think I kinda just floated along. I mainly stayed home, but it’s not like staying home meant doing work. It usually meant killing time on youtube. My grades were OK, but I always kinda knew I could do better. Everyone knows the motto “Work hard, play hard”. I’m pretty sure I got the “play hard” part perfected last semester (hosting a house party the night before a final anyone?). But it wasn’t until this semester I got the “work hard” bit down. And I like it. I definitely feel more fulfilled. I enjoy life more.
Now, for next semester, it’s going to be: “work hard, play hard, get your ass to the gym and start eating better”. Ever since quitting dance and just eating, well, shit, I’ve definitely noticed negative side effects regarding sleepiness, energy, and my waist.
